Welcome to ThisMudsForYou.com

This website is centered on OUR micro sprint racing activities, but there is MUCH more general micro sprint information and other content to be seen. We will attempt to supply information and entertainment for the racer, race fan and casual observer. Coming Soon will be a: What the Heck is a Micro Sprint? section, an editorial ( Bill's Take ) section and the B&T Wings page. I have started a technical information section with more articles to come. We hope you enjoy your visit – check back often for new content and be sure to check out the cool Micro Sprint
T-Shirts we have for sale.

New B&T Car Status (December 28th):

Our 2008 Canaday Chassis is about 1/2 complete. The axles are in and the car is sitting on the ground supporting its own weight. The new car uses the basic layout of the previous car with a few changes. The cockpit is wider and longer with adjustable pedal position. We have incorporated newly designed birdcages and an inboard rear brake. We retain the sidepanel mounted wing design I have run for the last five years and we also remain sold on the side mounted fuel tank.

Since I was the first at Sweet Springs to buy a Yamaha R6 back in 2000, it is difficult to change, but I have selected to run the Honda 600RR engine for 2008. I will be running the new car in the Multi-Class with a MOTEC electronic fuel injection and ignition system.

Indoor Karting:

My buddy Derrick Crank and I will be spending many Saturday nights throughout the winter at Sadler's Indoor Racing. I use these nights as recreation, but I also take it very serious as a means to improve my driving. Read my Bill's Take column about Indoor Karting and keep an eye on the Sweet Springs Raceway Forum for dates that we will be at Sadler's -- we would love to see you there!

New Tech Tip - How to Clean 600cc Carburetors:

Check out this new tech article - I have seen far too many performance problems related to 'dirty' carburetors. It is not difficult and is key to consistent engine operation. Is it laziness or just a lack of know-how that keeps people from properly maintaining their carbs? read more...

Back in the Winner's Circle! Winner

With Bill's post surgery rehab complete and our son ready for new adventures; the B&T Race Team got back to racing on July 29th. The night didn't go too well - check out my Racing Journal for more details.

(Revised) 2006 Season Preview / 2005 Review:

Our three time track championship car is FOR SALE as we have a new chassis in construction at Canaday Brothers' Race Shop. It kills me to say that I will not be racing for a track points championship in 2006 due to the fact I had a major surgical procedure performed just before the season began. With my surgery rehabilitation complete and the June birth of my son; the current plan is to race the FOR SALE car starting in late July. I will race this car until it sells. We are preparing the FOR SALE car to run in the Multi Class with a 2003 Yamaha R6 on carburetors. The new car will be done late in the season and we plan to race it in the unlimited (Multi) class. read more...

Bill's Surgery a success - Rehab begins:

On March 30th, I successfully underwent a major surgical procedure. For the last four years I have suffered from a medical issue called Trigeminal Neuralgia (also called Tic Douloureux). The procedure was called a Craniectomy for MicroVascular Decompression of the 5th Cranial Nerve - basically, they had to make a hole in
my head to gain access to the Trigeminal nerve (pretty much brain surgery!). Yes, to everyone's amazement, they did find a brain! read more...
